A personal reflection:

The album 'A Force Majeure' is a profound reflection on the state of our society in the modern digital age. The album delves into the theme of polarisation, exploring the deep divides that have emerged in our society. On the one hand, we have access to the most advanced technologies that have ever existed, and we can connect with people from all over the world with ease.

However, on the other hand, we are more isolated, lonely, and divided than ever before.The album speaks to the way that digital technology has impacted the way we communicate with each other. As we become more reliant on artificial platforms and interfaces, we are losing our innate ability to connect with one another. We are losing our appreciation for the immediate environment around us and the things that make us uniquely human.

A Force Majeure speaks to the challenges we face in this polarised society, and the way that the creation of art has allowed us to bridge our differences and come together. Through the process of creation we were able to build deeper connections with each other. Despite the stress and pressure that often accompanies the creative process, we were able to find common ground and work together in harmony.

It was a powerful reminder of the potential that exists within us to overcome the challenges that we face as a society. We hoped that this album would inspire others to seek out connections with those who are different from themselves, and to find ways to bridge the divides that have emerged in our world.

This was a special album for me. Over the time we spent writing it we realised there was a consistent theme that kept presenting itself... Togetherness and or lack thereof. People are more connected than ever with all the technology available, the quality of living is higher than it has ever been, conditions for happiness are more present than ever before and yet we can find ourselves, all too easily, alienated, lonely, depressed and unsure how to truly connect.

A culmination of our collective creativity and collaboration. Throughout the process of crafting these songs, we discovered a recurring theme that brought us immense joy: the power of togetherness. In a world where technology has made it easier than ever to connect with one another, it's easy to forget about the magic of physical presence and human connection. But this album reminds us of the beauty of analogue living, of being fully present in the moment and appreciating the world around us.

Through the process of creating this album, we dove deeper into production and songwriting while also strengthening our bonds with one another. It's incredible to think that the pressure and stress that often come with creation could have such a positive impact on our relationships, but it did. This album is a testament to the power of collaboration and the joy that can be found when we come together to create something beautiful. So let us celebrate this album and the connections it represents, for it reminds us that even in the midst of chaos and confusion, there is always the possibility of joy and togetherness.
